Monitoring
Inspect website traffic and find individual requests.
Website metrics
Open your website overview to see request rates, status codes, response times, and origin health. Check the timestamp when a chart shows old or unavailable data.
Traffic charts
Traffic charts show requests per second (req/s) from 10-second samples. Latest sample and Peak in range summarize the displayed range. Timestamps use your browser's timezone.
Hover over a chart, or tap it on a touchscreen, to inspect a sample. With the chart focused, use Left, Right, Home, or End. Select Expand for a larger view and press Escape to close it.
A gap means measurements are missing. A recorded zero means no requests were measured in that sample.
The cache chart compares hits, including stale responses, with misses. Its values cover the available reporting intervals.
Origin analytics
Open Speed > Origin analytics to compare origin response times, status codes, and connection timings. See Origin analytics for metric definitions.
Request samples
Request events shows a sample of website traffic. Search by IP address, country, path, action, reason, or rule name.
Visitor details can arrive after the event. Unavailable means those details are missing or have expired. The client ID is a pseudonymous identifier, separate from the IP address.
Use model scores to investigate traffic alongside request details and rules. They do not establish a visitor's identity or whether a request is malicious.
Request history
- Open Find a request.
- Select the website.
- Enter the request ID from the
X-Loclix-Request-IDresponse header or a Loclix error page.
Leave the ID empty to list the latest 100 retained requests. Request records are kept for seven days and usually arrive within a few seconds; outages can delay or interrupt delivery.
History includes completed requests beyond the sampled event list. Records contain paths up to 128 bytes, without query strings, cookies, request headers, or bodies.
Source addresses and paths
The source IP is the address that connected to Loclix. If another proxy sits in front of Loclix, its address may appear instead of the visitor's. Countries are estimated from IP addresses.
Aggregate path counters track 64 distinct paths, then group additional paths under (other paths). Individual records retain their own paths within the 128-byte limit.
Browser monitoring
Browser monitoring reports page load times, Web Vitals, and browser errors for the public page groups you configure. Its results cover browsers that supplied measurements.
Zero Trust activity
Access activity records authentication and access decisions separately from sampled website events. Use it to investigate sign-in failures, policy denials, and email code delivery.
