Website setup

Connect your domain and send website traffic through Loclix.

You need access to your domain's DNS records and the address of your origin server.

Connect a website

  1. Open Websites in the dashboard.
  2. Select Add website.
  3. Enter the hostname and origin address.
  4. Select Strict to use verified HTTPS between Loclix and your origin.
  5. Follow the DNS instructions in the setup dialog.

Point the hostname to waf-ingress.loclix.network. If your DNS provider offers proxying, use its DNS-only option. Root domains need CNAME flattening or an ALIAS record.

Your origin must present a trusted certificate for the expected hostname. See origin certificates if you need to install one.

To publish a service without a public origin address, start with connector setup.

Check setup

Wait for DNS confirmation and certificate deployment. You can close the dialog while setup continues; select View setup to return to it.

Once setup is complete, open your website over HTTPS. If setup stalls, check the error in View setup and follow setup troubleshooting.
